It's not hard to notice that our player count has been dropping for a while now, Minecraft it seems has had it's day and while I have been trying to improve advertsing and server listings, it is a bit of a catch 22 situation, as our numbers drop we get less votes and in turn less players which ultimately results in less donations.
Over the last 4 months or so we have unfortunately not been getting very many donations, our last donation was over 2 weeks ago and as much as I have been trying I am currently struggling a great deal to pay for everything.
This month may be our last unless some miracle occurs and we can cover server costs or at least come close to covering the bills. All that being said I am not ready to give up just yet! I do intend to open some new minecraft servers this month, and as you can see below I have opened a new ECO server which I will soon create a seperate area on the website for and look into adding a donations for that, which might help.
If we do have to close the network in January, any donations we get this month will be refunded in full. I sincerly hope that won't be the case but if you are considering donating this month then please be safe in the knowledge that you won't lose your donation for nothing.
I have added a donation goal to the website so we can all keep track but I felt it was only right to let everyone know about the situation. (Update: That goal included the website costs too, but Gaius added 30 days for us and we got £60 for ECO so the real goal is about £100! (It resets if I change it)
Update: We are currently at £114 of a £100 target, so we will not be closing at the end of this month. A huge thankyou to everyone who has donated so far this month, onwards to 2018!
